With more than 33 years of healthcare project management experience, John's insight into how hospital form follows function has made him an invaluable asset on many complex and challenging projects. He has assumed direct responsibility for additions, renovations, or replacement of more than 80 acute care, psychiatric, and rehabilitation hospitals across the country, totaling in value of over $600 million. His diversified expertise in healthcare facility operations, project development, and healthcare design and construction ensures every aspect of a project is guided to a successful completion.

With more than 32 years of healthcare planning, management, and operations improvement experience, Steve is able to quickly identify the key operational issues that will be most improved by creative facility planning and design. His extensive experience includes planning services for new facility and renovation hospital projects, ranging from 25 to 800 beds and totaling over 12 million square feet and $3 billion in project value. He is experienced in acute care medical centers, teaching hospitals, pediatric hospitals, rural hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, outpatient rehabilitation facilities, physician clinics, women’s health services, cardiopulmonary centers, information and communication systems, materials management systems, and new services development.

In his 16 years at a top-ten healthcare architectural firm and AHFD, Steve has worked on more than 50 projects, giving him a deep understanding about the coordination effort required to successfully complete a modern healthcare facility. His responsibilities have included projects ranging from $10 million to over $90 million, including rural acute care facilities, health and wellness centers, and retirement centers. His broad base of knowledge is key to his ability to consistently deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Mick brings over 30 years of construction and project management expertise to AHFD’s clients. He has managed hospital and hospitality projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. His proven, broad base of knowledge allows him to lead design and construction teams that consistently meet client objectives and complete projects on time and on budget.
